EXPERIENCE INDEPENDENT FASHION

Like an artist being showcased in a gallery, CONTENT, in its curation, is a platform for the independent fashion designer as artist. 

Debuting October 2009, the inagural CONTENT event showcased 38 of Portland’s finest clothing and accessory designers inhabiting 28 rooms of the Ace Hotel.  The designer installations painted the picture
and range of the indie-brand and their unique identities.  Extending throughout the hotel were art installations and live bands. 

Creator’s How We Develop established the event by banding together an A-team of top-shelf Portland producers, bookers, artists, videographers, musicians and photographers, and are excited to expand the
event annually. 

Local, national and international independent clothing and accessory designers are invited to participate in the 2010 CONTENT event.
